Dr Nafeez Ahmed will give a keynote talk based on his book: Failing States, Collapsing Systems – BioPhysical Triggers of Political Violence.

Nafeez Ahmed is an award-winning investigative journalist, bestselling author, transdisciplinary academic, documentary film-maker, science fiction novelist, and musician.

Hilary Sutcliff, Director of SocietyInside will talk on the role of technologies, both the possibilities for systemic failure and for making the transitions of civilisation to a sustainable future.

Dr Lucy Ford, Oxford Brookes University will consider the ecopsychological and human aspects of transition.

Mike Parker, will lead on Liminal Reflections

Susan Canney, Oxford University will ask: How can humans and nature live together?

After we reflect on plans and priorities for the next 10 years and launch our new journal, we will have a full afternoon of workshops based on our four themes.
