Submission to Inclusive Growth Commission

The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) have issued an interim report: Inclusive Growth Commission – Emerging findings. It is an inquiry to understand and identify practical ways to make local economies across the UK more economically inclusive and prosperous.

One of the Institute’s main themes, convergence, is how to connect the desire for greater equality with the reality of the limits of the planet and resource constraints. We believe that all countries and communities should converge towards greater equity but within these overall limits – and that this is the key challenge facing the world. We have responded to the RSA’s Commission in this paper:
