From 2009 through to 2013, the institute led an EU-funded project under the Framework 7 programme. The project was called CONVERGE – Rethinking Globalisation in the Light of Contraction and Convergence.
It used many system thinking methodologies and involved workshops in Europe and in India. Two of the papers that are part of this project are available here:
Paper WP13 – D19 Dynamic simulations that enable decision support for complex multi-dimensional policy strategies.
This paper presents models (both conceptual and dynamic) developed from case studies in Iceland and Bristol.
Full documentation of the whole working methodology adapted in the case studies is delivered in D20 (Working methodology report for the CONVERGE indicator framework, tested with a range of stakeholder groups participating in group model building workshops).
Paper WP13 – D20 Working methodology report of developed principles for CONVERGE tested with a range of stakeholder groups participating in group model-building workshops, including a methodology report for group models.
This deliverable fully documents the working methodology for the CONVERGE indicator framework while developing the indicators within selected three case studies. It describes in detail the working methodologies used in the case studies of Iceland, Bristol-UK, and Tiruneveli-India.
